Terms & Conditions


Rapid Smart Repairs

Effective Date: 06/01/2026

Welcome to Rapid Smart Repairs. By booking, approving, or using our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.


1. Services Provided

Rapid Smart Repairs provides cosmetic vehicle repair services including, but not limited to:

  • Scratch repairs
  • Dent repairs
  • Paint touch-ups
  • Bumper repairs
  • Alloy wheel repairs
  • Minor cosmetic restoration

All repairs are performed based on the condition of the vehicle at the time of inspection.

2. Quotes & Pricing

  • Quotes are estimates based on visible damage only.
  • Additional damage discovered during repairs may result in revised pricing.
  • Quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.
  • Prices include GST where applicable.

3. Bookings & Deposits

  • Bookings are subject to availability.
  • Deposits may be required for certain repairs or special-order materials.
  • Customers must provide accurate vehicle and contact information when booking.

4. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the booking may receive a full deposit refund.
  • Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a cancellation or call-out fee.
  • Rapid Smart Repairs reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances.

5. Mobile Repair Conditions

For mobile services, customers must provide:

  • Safe and accessible working space
  • Adequate lighting and ventilation
  • Reasonable weather protection where possible
  • Access to the vehicle during the appointment

We may refuse or postpone repairs where conditions are unsafe or unsuitable.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

  • Remove valuables from the vehicle before repairs
  • Disclose previous repairs, repainting, or existing damage
  • Ensure the vehicle is legally parked and accessible

Rapid Smart Repairs is not responsible for pre existing damage, poor prior repairs, or hidden defects.

7. Repair Limitations

While we aim for high-quality cosmetic results:

  • Colour matching may vary slightly due to paint age, fading, weathering, or manufacturer variations
  • Some deep damage, rust, cracked plastics, or prior repair areas may limit achievable results
  • Cosmetic repairs are not guaranteed to restore factory-new condition unless explicitly stated

8. Workmanship Warranty

Rapid Smart Repairs offers a workmanship warranty on eligible repairs.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Stone chips, scratches, or new impact damage
  • Rust or corrosion
  • Damage caused by improper care or third parties
  • Repairs performed over pre-existing poor workmanship

Warranty claims must be reported promptly with proof of service.

9. Refunds & Rework

Refunds and rework are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy.

Rapid Smart Repairs reserves the right to inspect and attempt to rectify any issue before issuing refunds or compensation.

10. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of repairs unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Late payments may incur additional fees.
  • Vehicles may not be released until payment is received where applicable.

Accepted payment methods:

  • Bank transfer
  • EFTPOS
  • Cash
  • Approved payment platforms

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Rapid Smart Repairs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
  • Liability is limited to the value of the services provided
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, supply shortages, or events outside our control

12. Photographs & Marketing

Rapid Smart Repairs may take before-and-after photographs of repairs for:

  • Quality records
  • Warranty purposes
  • Marketing and social media

Number plates and identifying details may be obscured upon request.

13. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Customers may be entitled to certain remedies where services fail to meet statutory consumer guarantees.

14. Privacy

Customer information is used only for:

  • Booking management
  • Invoicing
  • Customer communication
  • Warranty and service records

We do not sell or share customer information with unrelated third parties.


15. Changes to Terms

Rapid Smart Repairs reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

The latest version will always apply to future bookings and services.

Refund Policy


At Rapid Smart Repairs, we take pride in delivering high-quality scratch, dent, paint, and cosmetic vehicle repairs. Customer satisfaction is important to us, and this Refund Policy outlines when refunds, rework, or other remedies may apply.


1. Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with the quality of the repair work performed, please contact us within 7 days of service completion so we can assess the issue and work toward a fair resolution.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be considered in the following situations:

  • The agreed repair work was not completed 
  • The repair quality is substantially below reasonable industry standards 
  • Incorrect services were provided due to an error by Rapid Smart Repairs 
  • Damage was caused directly by our workmanship 

Refund requests must include:

  • Proof of purchase or invoice 
  • Clear photos of the issue 
  • A description of the concern 

3. Rework Before Refund

In most cases, Rapid Smart Repairs reserves the right to inspect the vehicle and attempt to correct or redo the repair before a refund is issued.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided for:

  • Pre-existing damage not related to our repair work 
  • Wear and tear, rust, fading, or deterioration occurring after the repair 
  • Customer dissatisfaction based on subjective expectations where the repair meets industry standards 
  • Damage caused after the vehicle leaves our care 
  • Failure to follow aftercare instructions 
  • Delays caused by parts availability, weather conditions, or factors outside our control 

5. Mobile Repairs & Call-Out Fees

For mobile repair services, call-out or inspection fees may be non-refundable once attendance has occurred, even if the customer chooses not to proceed with repairs.

6. Deposits

Deposits paid for scheduled work may be:

  • Fully refundable if cancelled more than 48 hours before the booking 
  • Partially refundable or non-refundable for late cancellations or missed appointments 

7. Warranty Claims

Where repairs are covered under a workmanship warranty, we may offer:

  • Rework 
  • Touch-ups 
  • Partial refund 
  • Alternative resolution at our discretion 

8. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission and applicable Australian Consumer Law. Customers are entitled to remedies where services fail to meet consumer guarantees.
